Further your drawing skills and get up close with some of Nederland’s fascinating history at this still life workshop. We are fortunate to be able to work directly from antique items on loan from the Nederland Area Historical Society’s unique house museum, the Gillaspie House for this session.  We'll be using charcoal, erasers and pencils to explore shapes, composition, perspective, tones and value and create several studies and a drawing . No skills necessary, beginners welcome!

$5 fee to cover supplies, take your pencil and vine charcoals home.

Adult arts program co-hosted by Library Assistant Director/Artist Jessie and our “Artist-in’Residence” Leah DeCapio with a variety of guests presenters. We'll be trying our hands at a different art technique or project every month! From paper crafts, sewing skills, to paint, leather and clay, we hope to cover it all and have some fun creating!

No skills necessary!  A good sense of humor will be useful.
